About: A Voice for the Missing and Murdered

I created A Voice for the Missing and Murdered in March of 2024, to advocate for the people who have been missing or murdered and have been classified as a cold case with no resolution.

These people unfortunately have been forgotten and my goal is to bring new light to their cases as well as possibly helping solve a few. This is my hope.

Sometimes, law enforcement agencies need a new set of eyes to look over the case and possibly find new leads to these cases.

What typically happens in a cold case is that in the beginning of a case, law enforcement typically has many leads and/or tips to follow through on, although, this is not always the case. It can happen that the tips and leads dry up. Law enforcement continue to look through any piece of evidence they have, come up with new hypothesis and ideas, and interview as many people as possible until their luck runs dry.

This can go on for a while, the case being put at the corner of an investigator's desk while they work other cases. After a period of time with nothing more to go on, the case becomes cold.

In highly populated cities, there is often not enough investigators that can put forth the time to continue working on a case with no more leads when there are so many other people going missing or being killed.

In smaller cities and towns, law enforcement still has to prioritize the urgency of each case. There is typically still an issue of not enough investigators to work a case with no leads.

People go missing every day. Either of their own free will, or forcibly.

Where did they go? Did they leave of their own accord? Were they forced? Lured? Tricked?

Why did they leave this way?

My goal is to help speak for these people who can no longer speak for themselves, and hopefully to find some of them.

You can help too, by sharing my website or articles I have posted throughout my website.

I don't claim to be an excellent writer. I'm actually a novice, but I also have a goal to become a better writer. Hopefully this website helps me with that.
